Terrain Generation Test
A downloadable project for Windows
more for practice than anything else, generates a map using several different terrain tiles, actually playing with IEnumarables, rather than terrain generation though this was probably my first attemmpt at it, and is from the summer before I did procedural generation at university as seen in my procedurally generated cavern. though it was not specifically the aim, this was my first (certianly my first proper) attempt at experimenting with procedural generation.
this is a particularly performace heavy approach, it spawns in a number of biome 'seeds' accross the area of the map, each of which moves at random until it decays (using a decaying value to decide when generation stops with a random trigger).
